I know it’s a little egocentric to put a picture of myself, but I don’t feel like search for photos and the important is the landscape. I think this picture was taking by my younger sister, but I don’t remember very well. Actually, it’s was a surprise one, so I’m not posing, even though it looks like :P. Here I’m in El Valle del Elqui, in a dam by the way to the town. It’s was really beautiful and high, the wind was blowing so strong that you had to stand firm, or you fell down. It was very difficult to lean over the railing, like I’m doing in my picture, because you have to contend with the wind . My hair fluttering strongly, but it was cool :D. It was taking like two years ago, when I went there with my family and some friends. That was the second time I had been there, in El Valle del Elqui. I love that place, it’s so calm and beautiful, even though you really have nothing to do there. It’s cool only for a day :D. In fact, you can go to Gabriela Mistral's house, to the astronomical observatory and to visit some ruins of a already death culture- I don’t remember which one- and at the middle of the day the list of activities ends :P. So, we go to the river or to swimming pools and expend the rest of our day there. Well, returning to the picture, that dam was amazing, despite it was artificial. I like this picture because I remember that place, and you can see a panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Remembers me also the wind, so strong, and the sky so blue. It’s not my favorite, but I like it very much. :)

  7. Hi Manuela, how are you? That photograph is very beautiful, and it helps me to remember my last vacations in La Serena. El Valle del Elqui is near to La Serena and with my family visited it too, there were very good moments.
